2. Visiting and hosting this website
The website is hosted through OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites. STRATO manages the domain and DNS records; website content is delivered through ChatGPT Sites.
Visiting the website sends technical connection data, such as your IP address, time, requested address, and browser and device information, to the hosting infrastructure. The purpose is to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our legitimate interest in a reliable, secure website.
OpenAI and its infrastructure providers process data to operate the service. Where processing on our behalf takes place, the applicable Sites data processing terms apply. Processing exclusively within the EEA is not guaranteed. For transfers from the EEA, the Sites Data Processing Addendum provides in particular for adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. A specific retention period for technical hosting logs has not yet been confirmed to us for this website. You can request information using the contact details above.
3. Email enquiries
The contact fields initially process your name, email address, selected interest and message in your browser. The button opens a prepared email in your email application. We receive it only when you send it there. The form does not transmit its contents to a separate form database or form delivery service.
We use these details to respond. For potential bookings, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other enquiries it is Article 6(1)(f), reflecting our interest in answering your message. Providing information is voluntary, but we need suitable contact details to reply. Please do not send health information through this feature.
4. Retreat updates / newsletter
To request occasional retreat updates, you enter your email address and give consent. This also opens an email which you must send yourself. Requests are received by email and handled manually. No external newsletter platform or automated double opt-in system is connected.
Your address is used to send retreat updates manually, based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time, for example by emailing “Unsubscribe” to norlandjasmin@gmail.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Newsletter consent is not required for a normal enquiry.
5. Email providers and recipients
Messages to norlandjasmin@gmail.com are received through Gmail (Google), processing sender addresses, message contents and technical email data. Your own email provider is also involved in delivery. See Google’s Privacy Policy for its processing and international transfer information. Processing outside the EEA may occur.
6. Retention
Enquiries are retained as needed to handle them and any resulting business relationship. Statutory retention duties and necessary evidence may justify longer retention. Newsletter addresses are used until you unsubscribe or updates cease. Necessary consent records and a minimal unsubscribe record may remain after withdrawal as needed to defend legal claims or prevent further messages.
7. Cookies, analytics and embedded content
Our authored website code contains no analytics or advertising trackers, externally loaded fonts or embedded social media feeds. Images are loaded as website files. This code does not set its own cookies or use local storage. Platform security and hosting features are separate; their complete cookie and logging configuration has not yet been confirmed to us.

Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation, and object to direct marketing at any time. You may withdraw consent for the future.
