NORLAND YOGA & MINDFULNESS
Welcome — I’m glad you’re here

Find your balance.

Sometimes the most beautiful journey begins with the courage to make a change.

Hello, I’m Jasmin. I live in beautiful southwestern Norway, surrounded by fjords, mountains and nature that inspires me every day.

Through Norland Yoga & Mindfulness, I invite people to step away from everyday life, discover something new and reconnect with themselves.

My story

Following my heart.

There are moments in life when we sense that something needs to change. Not necessarily because everything is wrong, but because something within us longs for more. For freedom, new perspectives or simply a deeper connection with ourselves.

I reached such a point while living in Germany. Many experiences, encounters, challenges and decisions had shaped me. And, as life goes on, you sometimes ask yourself: Is this all there is? Or is something else waiting for me?

I decided to follow my heart. My path led me to Norway — a country whose remarkable nature, wide open spaces and unspoilt landscapes continue to fascinate me.

Was it an easy step? Certainly not. A new country, a different language, new people and the courage to leave familiar things behind. There were challenges and uncertainties. But I also learned something valuable:

“There is always a way.”

Today I know that balance does not mean everything must be perfectly in harmony all the time. It means staying connected to your centre, even when life is unsettled.

My retreats bring together yoga, mindfulness, experiences in nature and personal connections. Sometimes a little distance helps us recognise what truly matters.

My yoga journey

Sometimes a new passion begins with a single encounter. My yoga journey began in 2016 in Travemünde, my home at the time on the Baltic coast. A wonderful experience led me to Yogazentrum Travemünde.

What began as my own yoga practice grew into a deep enthusiasm. I chose a two-year, part-time yoga teacher training programme focusing on Hatha Yoga. I started teaching in 2019.

Alongside Hatha Yoga, I enjoy dynamic styles such as Yoga Flow and Power Yoga as much as the quieter elements of Yin Yoga. Sometimes we need energy, sometimes rest — and often both.

Training & qualifications

Advanced yoga teacher, 500+ hours — a two-year, part-time training programme at Yogazentrum Travemünde, focusing on Hatha Yoga.

Further training in anatomy, mindfulness, forest bathing and Yin Yoga. Development and delivery of my own approaches to anti-stress and preventive yoga. Yoga Flow and Power Yoga enrich my personal practice.

I have been teaching since 2019.

Mindfulness & nature

Nature has always been an important part of my life. Even on the Baltic coast, I spent plenty of time outdoors — paddleboarding, practising SUP Yoga or simply enjoying nature.

And now in Norway? Nothing has really changed. Except that it has. ;-)

The Baltic Sea has given way to fjords, the mountains are higher and the landscape is wilder. But the feeling remains: nature grounds me and helps me find my way back to myself.

Forests, mountains and valleys inspire me to embrace change, feel my own rhythm and live more mindfully. These experiences shape my work with yoga and mindfulness.

Discovering Norway — my experience as a guide

When I arrived in Norway, working as a German-speaking guide was one of my first opportunities to establish myself professionally. It became much more than a job: a chance to get to know my new home in depth.

I explored the region’s history — from the last Ice Age and the formation of the fjord landscapes through the Viking era to Norway today.

Today I guide guests between Stavanger and Haugesund, sharing my enthusiasm for the nature, culture and history of southwestern Norway. My retreat guests can enjoy this too, through special excursions, fascinating stories and authentic insights.

My philosophy — find your balance

For me, yoga means meeting yourself anew, again and again. Sometimes we need stillness, sometimes movement. And sometimes it feels good to step outside our comfort zone.

It is about staying curious, trusting yourself and respecting your own needs and boundaries, without striving for performance or perfection.

Accept what is. Without judgement. Without pressure.

Balance is not a fixed state. It changes with us and with life. Find your balance — between challenge and ease, movement and stillness, courage and trust.
